At the beginning of the 20th century, the French artist Jean-Marc Cote sketched his vision of the world in 100 years. Among other things, he foresaw not only the video-capable mobile phone, but also our interaction with it: The process of shared isolation, symbolised by two people sitting at a common table, but engrossed in individual communication.
