Due to the limited number of seats, tickets will be available at the box office 30 minutes before the performances.
Since 2016, Johanna Richter and Birgitta Trommler’s artist-by-artist initiative has brought together local, national and international dance makers once a year for a two-week platform.
For three weeks, they work intensively in studios that are available free of charge, try out their ideas for pieces, discuss them with other artists, and finally publish them in four “open space” performances in the heavy reiter, which meet with exceptionally great interest.
The open laboratory situation of the annual platform, and the great supra-regional response to the format, sustainably succeeds in networking with artists from Munich with colleagues from other German and European cities. The annual continuity of the format enables the growth of a multifaceted dance scene in Munich with visible choreographic talents.
